We know of many dog lovers who are unable to own dogs of their own. A busy schedule, an allergy to fur, a disagreeable family member – the list goes on and on. However, this does not mean that you should be stopped from forming a special bond with a dog in your lifetime!
Our sponsor-a-dog scheme allows you to have a special canine friend and take care of his/her welfare. You can choose to make a monthly contribution of $50 and above ($100, $150, $200…) to take care of the well-being of the dogs in our shelter.
WHAT WILL THE MONEY BE USED FOR?
The sponsorship amount received will be used to cover the expenses incurred in the shelter, including medical expenses for the dogs, purchase of food and the monthly rental fees for the kennels.
SPONSORSHIP HAS ITS perks
Besides financial support, many of our dogs lack the love and care a family can give. We encourage our sponsors to visit their furkids every 1-2 months, develop a friendship with them, as well as bathe or walk them (if suitable) under the guidance of our volunteers.
Due to manpower constraints, we are only able to accommodate monthly or bimonthly visits. Sponsors are advised to schedule their visits at least 2-3 weeks in advance.
MODE OF PAYMENT
Monthly sponsorship payments are made by executing a standing instruction to your bank to our DBS Current Bank Account – OSCAS LTD, Account No. 048-904283-4. For tracking purposes, please schedule the recurring payments for the 10th of each month (e.g. Start Date: 10/09/2021).
For ease of identifying the donor, please fill in under “My Initials” and “Beneficiary/Customer Ref:” as Your Name-Dog’s Name, e.g RonTan-Gypsy.
