Jay
Male
Born in 2022 (Approximately 11 - 12 months old)
Sterilized
Not HDB Approved
Cuddly, outgoing and active
Jay and his sister Jolie were found all alone in the jungle when they were tiny puppies. Both of them were so small they had to be bottle fed every few hours - but that means they have grown up into very friendly dogs who love hanging out with people.
Both Jay and Jolie are friendly, playful and smart dogs. They adore human company. All they want to do is hang out with you and play the day away (maybe even have a little snooze together?!). They have a lovely temperament and are very sweet pups.
Jay is a very social personality, and gets along well with humans and with other dogs. He is quite tall and lanky now, but still behaves like a big wiggly puppy when he sees visitors.
Jay is extremely food motivated and will respond well to some positive reinforcement training, to teach healthy behaviours.
Tommy
Male
Born in 2015 (Estimate)
Sterilized
Not HDB Approved
Gentle, quiet and sweet
Are you looking for a sophisticated gentleman to join your family? Then Tommy is the dog that you have been waiting for.
This guy is a gentle giant (although he’s not physically that big). He is a little bit shy, but always greets people with a curious tail wag and has a very kind heart.
He loves to go for walks and to explore his surroundings, but like lots of our dogs, he can be intimidated by loud unexpected noises and imposing strangers - but he is easily reassured.
Tommy has won our volunteers over very quickly, thanks to his friendly, placid and affectionate nature. Tommy would do best in a calm house where he can be loved on for the rest of his life.
Bailey
Male
Born in 2020 (Estimate)
Sterilized
HDB Approved
Nervous, shy and loves other dogs
Bailey is a very shy dog who is still getting comfortable around humans, and learning how to handle the outside world.
Although he is quiet around people, Bailey loves hanging out with other dogs - in particular his best friends Bianca and Pokka. He loves going for walks with them around the shelter.
Pokka and Bianca bring out a playfulness in Bailey, and we see them running around chasing each other in the hallways a lot! So we think he would love a home with another friendly, easy dog.
Bailey needs a few more months before he can transition to a home environment. Only those who have the patience to visit and bond with him before a homestay need apply.
Casey
Female
Born in 2012 (Estimate)
Sterilized
HDB Approved
Cuddly, curious and a little cautious
Casey is such a joyful and brave girl who was rescued from the streets last year, and is now looking for her forever home.
This brindle beauty loves cuddles and attention from the people she knows and will give you a little nudge with her head when she wants some more pats.
Casey is curious when on walks outside but loud noises can easily startle her. She needs a patient adopter who can encourage her on walks and support her to be her true confident self.
Casey has a truly beautiful personality and a kind heart. She bonds with people who are able to give her time and affection (and perhaps a little treat too!). She would be the perfect forever friend.
Charcoal
Male
Born in 2012 (Estimate)
Not Sterilized
HDB Approved
Shy, quiet and sweet
Charcoal was rescued by OSCAS, CDAS and ASD after he had been chained and caged in horrifying conditions for her whole life.
Charcoal has suffered health problems as a result. His intestines have been pushed into the upper cavity, which has slightly dislodged his lungs.
He is okay, but this condition means he can be short of breath when he goes on walks. So right now he’s only going on short walks as he gets used to life outside of a cage.
This makes him short of breath when he walks, so right now he’s only going on short walks as he gets used to life outside of a cage.
Charcoal needs a home with the right care. He is very scared of cars so short walks in a quiet area with minimal traffic would be best for him, to help him to come out of his shell.
Yunca
Female
Born in 2018 (Estimate)
Sterilized
HDB Approved
Smart, playful and talkative
Since gaining the confidence to walk on leash and interact with other dogs, Yunca has totally shaken off her former anxious self.
She loves to get outside with a twirl of excitement to race out and enjoy a walk. But she is still wary of strangers, so would require time to warm up to you but once you know how to approach her she will welcome chin tickles and butt massages!
This quirky little firecracker would do well in a home with a calm doggy companion and experienced people can who take the time to understand what makes her feel safe and comfortable.
She can be vocal when excited, so a tolerant, good listener is important too!
Faith
Female
Born in 2017 (Estimate)
Not Sterilized
HDB Approved
Affectionate, friendly and quiet
Faith is one of six dogs that were rescued from deplorable conditions in Lim Chu Kang.
She is the -perfect- dog. We don’t say that lightly, either! She is an adorable little thing who adores spending time with people. She is affectionate, friendly, resilient and a walking miracle.
Because she was almost starved to death in her previous life, Faith now needs to be on a lifelong renal diet. This is a manageable requirement and she will be happy and healthy as a result of it.
Faith ALWAYS greets you with a big happy smile, tail wags and jumps on you for attention. She is quiet, really small and an absolute delight. She is good with people and other dogs.
Rosemary
Female
Born in 2018 (Estimate)
Not Sterilized
HDB Approved
Shy, sweet and a little anxious
Rosemary has transformed from an extremely timid, nervous girl to a dog that loves to go for daily walks.
When she first came to us in 2019, Rosemary was scared of everything and wouldn’t leave her bed. Thanks to our dedicated volunteers, she now has trusted handlers and enjoys regular walks.
Rosemary is still shy around new faces, and requires potential adopters who will spend time getting to know her prior to a homestay. She needs time, patience and positive reassurance.
Rosemary is a quiet, medium-build dog who has the most beautiful face. She has a very sweet disposition, and would like an experienced dog owner who can show her all the love in the world.
Racer
Male
Born in 2009 (Estimate)
Sterilized
HDB Approved
Energetic, outgoing and confident
Racer is a very confident, playful and happy dog who loves hanging out with his best friend, kennel mate Ebal.
Motivated by food, Racer is a clever boy who is highly trainable. He loves people so we think that he will be able to settle in to a loving family quite easily - but we want him to go to a home with Ebal.
Racer and Ebal are a very easy pair - they are affectionate, smart and very sweet. They can be shy around new faces, but once they know and trust you, Racer and Ebal will be your friends forever.
These two are super friendly, very resilient and easy to manage. They would make wonderful couch companions and would be more than happy to keep you company if you’re cooking!
George
Male
Born in 2011 (Estimate)
Sterilized
Not HDB Approved
Energetic, affectionate and smart
George is a really playful, affectionate and confident dog who enjoys NOTHING more than going outside for a walk.
George is a tall, active dog who has a big happy smile that melts your heart. He greets our volunteers every day with big tail wags and he loves to lean on people he likes for head rubs.
Even though George was born in 2011 he has the energy and personality of a puppy. He loves to play, boss around other dogs and explore the outdoors. He is impossible not to love.
This sweet and friendly guy can be a little shy and reserved when he first meets new people. But don’t that or his age fool you - all he wants to do is play and then have a cuddle on the couch.
Aziz
Male
Born in 2010 (Estimate)
Sterilized
HDB Approved
Happy, friendly and outgoing
Aziz was rescued by OSCAS back in 2013 from a construction site around the Tanah Merah area after he was knocked by a lorry.
Ever since we first met him as a stray, Aziz has always been a lovable, playful boy. He is an active, outgoing dog who loves interacting with people and his kennel mate, Gummy.
Together, Aziz and Gummy make the perfect pair. They are cuddly, affectionate and friendly - and we have no idea why noone has come forward for them.
Can you offer them a forever home together? They are among our volunteer’s favourite dogs and would be wonderful companions, as they are easy to manage and very peaceful.
Jolie
Female
Born in 2022 (Approximately 11 - 12 months old)
Sterilized
Not HDB Approved
Affectionate, friendly and playful
Jolie and her brother Jay were found alone in the jungle when they were tiny pups. They were so small that our caretaker had to bottle feed them every few hours. But that means these two are very personable dogs who love hanging out with people.
Both Jolie and Jay are friendly, playful and smart dogs. They adore human company. All they want to do is hang out with you and play the day away (maybe even have a little snooze together?!). They have a lovely temperament and are very sweet pups.
We want nothing more than for Jolie and Jay to find a home, whether that be individually or as a pair. Jolie is slightly less rambunctious than her brother, and a calmer presence.
Are you the one that can FINALLY give Jolie a forever home? She is sick and tired of being in the shelter - she wants a family!
Josey
Female
Born in 2020 (Estimate)
Sterilized
HDB Approved
Happy, friendly and a little bit shy
Josey came to us with her Mum Juno in late 2021. Since then she has slowly come out of her shell and enjoys engaging with people.
Josey loves to walk outside on leash and enjoys exploring the outdoors. She likes to walk alongside Juno, but is also an independent woman who gets along with other dogs too.
Josey and Juno are still learning to trust strangers and feel comfortable receiving affection. She is treat motivated, which is something that is helping her to gain confidence around people.
Ideally, we would love to find a home for both Josey and Juno. She (and her mother) would be better suited to a home with fewer family members, as too many people may overwhelm them initially.
Bianca
Female
Born in 2019 (Estimate)
Sterilized
HDB Approved
Timid, nervous and shy
Bianca was rescued from the streets, with her best friend Bailey. Initially terrified, Bianca has come a long way in her journey.
Although she is incredibly shy and nervous, Bianca enjoys going on walks outside alongside her friends Bailey and Pokka. These dogs have restored each other’s confidence in humans.
Bianca needs an experienced owner who can give her the time, patience and care to help her to come out of her shell. She is an aloof dog, who prefers the company of dogs over people.
Bianca is best suited to a gentle, quiet home. Ideally she would go to a home without children, so she isn’t overwhelmed and can tackle one desensitisation hurdle at a time.
Lassie
Female
Born in 2012 (Estimate)
Sterilized
HDB Approved
Sweet, shy and nervous
Lassie was rescued by OSCAS, CDAS and ASD after she had been chained and caged in horrifying conditions for her whole life.
This gorgeous girl has the most wonderful personality. She is so cuddly and trusting, even after surviving such an awful situation. She truly deserves a chance to be in a loving forever home.
Currently more comfortable indoors than outdoors (as is to be expected), Lassie is a very sweet dog. She is adored by her handlers and is a very sweet, sensitive soul.
She has been walking on harness and leash with our volunteers, but is going to need a patient adopter who can take the time to show her that the world isn’t scary and that she deserves love.
Blackie
Female
Born in 2014 (Estimate)
Sterilized
HDB Approved
Gentle, curious and alert
Blackie used to live at a factory with her BFF Molly, who has since been adopted. We hope it’s her turn now to find a forever family!
When Blackie came into the shelter she was TERRIFIED of thunderstorms and would climb out of her kennel trying to “escape”.
She still doesn’t like storms, but now will usually retreat to the crate in her kennel to hide until the scary thunder is over. This is huge progress for her.
Blackie likes exploring on walks and really enjoys walking with another dog. Treats are always welcome and help Blackie to feel secure around new people, you may even be ask for a belly rub.
Blackie will do best in a calm house, where there aren’t lots of people or small children. She would be a great second dog.
Sunshine
Male
Born in 2018 (Estimate)
Sterilized
Not HDB Approved
Clever, shy and nervous
Sunshine came to us from an abusive home. When he arrived he was terrified, aggressive and wouldn’t let us near him.
Now, more than 18 months on, Sunshine is a different dog. He goes for daily walks with trusted handlers and he loves to explore the outdoors. He is still easily spooked by cars and unexpected noise, but he’s come such a long way and is almost ready for a home.
Sunshine isn’t ready for a homestay yet, but we would like to open applications for people to get to know him. Sunshine requires an experienced owner who has a calm, loving home.
Because of his previous home and his history, it is probably best if Sunshine does not go to a home with children.
Clint
Male
Born in 2016 (Estimate)
Sterilized
HDB Approved
Energetic, friendly and playful
Clint is one of six dogs that were rescued from deplorable conditions in Lim Chu Kang.
Clint had no food or water at his former location, for an extended period of time. As a result, he has permanent damage to his liver and will need to be on a renal diet for the rest of his life. But it is a manageable condition and he is happy and healthy aside from this.
After everything that he’s been through, Clint is an incredibly extroverted dog who greets you by jumping in the air with big tail wags! He loves to walk and enjoys hanging out with humans.
Clint has been a bit territorial around other dogs at the shelter, so we think it’s best if he goes to a home without another dog.
Pia
Female
Born in 2016 (Estimate)
Sterilized
HDB Approved
Nervous, timid and sweet
When Pia came into our care, she was fresh off the streets and had a big litter of puppies with her.
Completely overwhelmed, it’s taken Pia a little while to settle in and feel comfortable around us. But thankfully, she’s made great progress and is feeling much better and confident around people.
Now able to walk outdoors with our volunteers and the other dogs, Pia is a completely different dog now! She is confident with people she knows and trusts and enjoys the company of our other dogs.
Pia is still quiet and shy, so she would need an experienced owner who can offer her a calm home environment where she can be supported to come out of her shell.
Zap
Male
Born in 2008 (Estimate)
Sterilized
Not HDB Approved
Friendly, shy and quiet
Zap and his BFF Boo Boo are the NICEST dogs you could ever meet. Why have these two have spent all their lives at a shelter?!
Zap is a quiet and reserved fellow, but once he gets outside for a walk, it’s like he’s a different dog. He is so happy and loves nothing more than exploring the outdoors with his best friend Boo Boo.
Zap whines with excitement when he sees our volunteers, hoping it’s time for a walk. Once he’s done, he wants nothing more than to curl up on a mattress with his best friend and take a long nap.
Zap and Boo Boo are a bonded pair and we want them to be rehomed together. They are both incredibly easy, loyal and friendly dogs who would be wonderful companions at home.
Piglet
Female
Born in 2012
Sterilized
HDB Approved
Friendly, affectionate and loyal
Piglet is a three-legged girl, but don’t worry - this confident and vivacious dog doesn’t let anything stop her.
She came to us after she was tragically run over by a lorry, an accident that not only claimed her leg but her Mum too. It took a little while for her to bounce back, but she’s much happier now.
Piglet honestly wants nothing more than a family to call her own. She is extremely affectionate with our volunteers, and we think she would be a wonderful companion on the couch.
Piglet does bark when she meets new people, but once she knows you she will be your best friend for life. She loves being petted, she loves going for outings and she loves going for rides in the car.
Stella
Female

Shy, sweet and quiet
Stella came to us with her best friend and the love of her life, Old Mack. These two do absolutely everything together.
Old Mack is always there for Stella, comforting and protecting her. Thanks to him, she has now come out of her shell and goes for daily walks alongside him - way to go Stella!
These two are such a beautiful bonded pair. They remind us that love is special and we adore how they take care of each other; so we would like Stella and Old Mack to be adopted together.
There is no way we could break up their love story, as these two are so lucky to have found one another and their friendship. They are a very easy pair who like to take it easy.
Lucky
Male
Born in 2013 (Estimate)
Sterilized
HDB Approved
Energetic, smart and playful
Lucky started out as a farm dog who sadly lost his home when the farm moved. Due to his happy personality he adapted quickly to shelter life, but he LOVES to get out of his kennel to explore the world.
He will always greet you with a giant smile and wiggly tail. Lucky adores sniffing everything during his walks and taking a few rolls in the grass. He prefers female dogs, but probably would be fine with a male dog if given a proper introduction.
Treats are Lucky’s favorite and he is great at catching them in the air. He would do best in an active house, without little children, where he can go on excursions and come home to a nice bed.
Don’t miss out on this amazing dog. Lucky is so friendly, affectionate and smart he will be a wonderful best friend.
Juno
Female
Born in 2019 (Estimate)
Sterilized
HDB Approved
Timid, gentle and quiet
Juno came to OSCAS with her young daughter Josey in late 2021. She is the less confident one of the pair, but is making progress!
By learning to walk on leash with Josey by her side, Juno has gained confidence and gets excited to go outside for a walk. She is still learning to trust strangers, and requires time to bond with you.
When she is outside, Juno takes a little while to warm up and get her groove. Inside, she loves to take treats and watch people come and go through her kennel door - she is very curious.
Ideally, we would love to find a home for both Juno and her daughter, who have a happy relationship, walk well together and give each other comfort and confidence.
Pokka
Female
Born in 2017 (Estimate)
Sterilized
HDB Approved
Playful, energetic and shy around new people
Pokka is a three-legged girl who lives life to the fullest. She lost her leg in a factory accident, but it truly changes nothing for her!
Pokka walks at full pace and loves to run amok with her best friends Bailey and Bianca. She loves nothing more than rolling around in the fresh grass, chasing her friends in the sun.
Pokka is shy when she meets new people, but is treat motivated and responds well to positive reassurance. She loves the company of other dogs, so we think she would love to live with another dog.
When Pokka came to us she was diagnosed with anemia, which does require maintenance but is a completely manageable condition. She will have it for the rest of her life.
Kino
Male
Born in 2015 (Estimate)
Not Sterilized
HDB Approved
Active, intelligent and confident
Abandoned by his owner for no reason, Kino is an energetic and friendly guy who loves nothing more than to go for a walk.
Kino is a handsome dog who is treat motivated and very smart. He is easy to train, so we recommend that an active owner adopts him who can help him channel his energy into positive behaviours.
Kino is eager to please and would probably be really good at an activity like agility. He can be shy around new people, but once he knows you he LOVES affection and is very cuddly.
Because Kino is active and energetic, we recommend that he is adopted by a family without children. This is just because he may be too boisterous for young kids.
Penny

Quiet, nervous and timid
Penny is a very sweet girl who is wary of the world. She is making progress, but needs a calm environment to feel confident.
Penny learned to walk on leash at the shelter, and she enjoys to go on daily walks with the other dogs. She is getting used to loud noises and unexpected strangers, and is a gentle soul.
Penny would require time to bond with potential adopters. She would do best in a home where her confidence can be nurtured with lots of patience, positive reassurance and love.
She needs someone who has owned dogs before, someone who can handle her if she gets spooked on a walk. In return, you would have a very loving and loyal soul as your best friend.
Are you the one that Penny has been waiting for? She would thrive in a calm home that can give her space to come out of her shell.

Male
Born in 2010

Playful, energetic and enthusiastic
Yes he is as handsome as he looks! Jak is a sweet and funny soul - the type of dog who other dogs always want to be friends with.
Jak has a fun and playful spirit and has come a long way since first arriving at the shelter, when he wasn’t too sure about humans or dogs. Now he’s the security guard of our shelter, keeping an eye on everyone from our balcony.
Jak would do well in a home that can help him adapt to an urban environment, he loves to walk! He also has a long, fluffy coat that requires regular maintenance, such as baths and brushes.
Jak gets along with other dogs but because he’s a total diva, he would probably love a home where he can be the spoiled only child.

Despite her health, Hope is a happy dog with a strong will to enjoy life. She enjoys walking and she swims each week, which gives her a vivacious appetite (we think she’s making up for lost time!).

Initially Boo Boo was quite shy, but now he is confident and loves going for long walks outside with his best friend. He and Zap are a cute couple and we would love for them to be rehomed together.

Old Mack and Stella are a very easy going pair of dogs, who like to take it slow and spend time with one another. They enjoy sleeping next to one another and spending time in the sun.
